One of my favorite Sunday morning activities. Produce is great quality and a nice mix of other artisan vendors too. I can always find something of interest & find myself returning week after week! Go earlier to avoid crowds.

I LOVE THE SOAP and lotion bars at PER DIEM! I love how the ingredients are natural, good for Earth and for my skin. I've been using their products for a while now and have seen great results. I have dry skin so it's hard for me finding something that is good for Earth as well as nourishing. I stopped having chapped lips after using their product for my lips :) thank you!

So much good food and a couple of love performances here. Had the best tasting kefir soda from here EVER. A ton of dogs, a couple of handmade jewelry vendor folks, too. Coolest wave art I've seen in a awhile, and a chiro adjusting the community lol

Every Sunday starting at 9am, a collective of vendors set up their stands/booths to showcase their foods, products, crafts and or talent. Located on Normal street in the Hillcrest area of San Diego. Parking is a challenge but possible even if have to park a block or two away. Have been coming here for about 6 months, during my extended stay in San Diego. Initially, there were signs prohibiting dogs. Of course, service dogs are allowed so my pup Fendi is allowed. My usual picks include fresh flowers, some fruits, herbs and occasionally something like hand crafted accessories for Fendi or myself. There are lots of food vendors which you get to see preparing foods. Sadly not all of these food preparers practice cleanliness: hands not so clean and NOT wearing gloves. Some people don't care, but I do, and when I witness unsanitary things, it's a turn off and makes me loose my appetite. I don't always make a purchase, but enjoy the stroll with my pup Fendi to see the colorful sights and sounds. Many more music performers are showcasing their talents and it's fun to see and hear music which adds to the atmosphere and shopping at this Hillcrest farmer's market. Recommend!
